The details
About Forma Skin Tightening
in Hamilton.
Forma uses a handpiece at the skin’s surface to deliver radiofrequency heating. It does not use the microneedles of Morpheus8. InMode describes Forma as a non-ablative, bipolar RF technology for mild-to-moderate facial wrinkles. For a client comparing tightening treatments, that distinction is a useful starting point: the devices work differently and should not be chosen simply because they share the term ‘radiofrequency’.
PurBliss offers several facial-area formats and a six-session full-face package. Ask which area is actually being treated, what improvement is realistic and when the course will be reviewed. Feeling warmth during a visit is not a substitute for a careful assessment.
Decide what tightening would mean for you
For a Forma consultation, identify where you notice a change and how much improvement would feel worthwhile. Surface radiofrequency treatment can be discussed for selected wrinkle concerns, but a useful plan should state what is realistic for your skin and anatomy. Compare full-face and smaller-area appointments by their actual treatment boundaries, review schedule and total course cost.

Understand the treatment
Understand the procedure before you book
Forma uses a surface handpiece to deliver bipolar radiofrequency. It does not insert microneedles. The device is designed to monitor temperature as energy is applied; the provider should explain how the selected area and individual precautions guide the appointment.
An even-looking skin surface or a feeling of warmth is not a promise of a lifting result. Agree on a realistic goal and how a course will be reviewed before committing to multiple visits.

Good questions
A little more
clarity.
Does Forma use needles?
No. Forma applies RF from the skin’s surface. Morpheus8 is a different procedure that uses microneedles to deliver RF energy.
Can Forma replace a surgical lift?
Do not expect the same degree or type of change. Discuss the extent of skin laxity and what a non-surgical treatment can reasonably achieve.
How many appointments are needed?
The clinic lists course options, but your recommendation should depend on assessment and response. Ask how progress will be judged and whether maintenance is expected.
Does the full-face Forma booking automatically include the neck?
Confirm the exact inclusion list. PurBliss lists different facial-area formats, and a general full-face label should not be assumed to include every adjacent area. Ask for the agreed treatment boundaries and whether adding the neck changes the appointment length or fee.
Should I interpret a stronger heat sensation as a better Forma treatment?
Use comfort feedback rather than judging the treatment by how hot it feels. InMode describes temperature control as part of the Forma technology. Ask how the provider monitors your skin and tell them if the sensation is uncomfortable; a heat sensation alone cannot establish the quality or likely result.
